Angela's Percolation Socks [Made By You}

Welcome to our latest blog feature, where I'll be featuring some of the amazing projects you have all been making using Agrestal Yarn! This week, I'm so excited to share Angela's Percolation Socks! Angela was one of my test knitters for the Percolation pattern, and she made hers in Grand River Sock in the "lichen" colourway. I love how her knit showcases the yarn - the cable pattern allows the variegation in the yarn to shine without overpowering it. To see more of Angela's knits, you can visit her on Ravelry and on Instagram, where she posts beautiful pictures of her projects!

Percolation sock pattern is live (+ a discount!)

I am so excited to have released my latest pattern, Percolation Socks! The socks use 1 skein of grand river sock, and the pair above was knit in peat. Here are some more details from the pattern itself: Percolation socks are an easy knit with a striking cable and texture pattern across the top of the foot. The socks are knit from the top-down with a reinforced heel flap. The ribbed cuff and the texture panel ensure a snug fit. Percolation socks are a great addition to an everyday outfit, but have enough visual interest to compliment a special outfit. The pattern is written in two sizes, small and large. The small will fit a women’s shoe size 7-9 (men’s...

Michael's Exoflora [Made by You]

Welcome to our latest blog feature, where I'll be featuring some of the amazing projects you have all been making using Agrestal Yarn! This week, Michael's Exoflora hat takes the stage! Michael designed this amazingly warm hat in two colours of Mill Cove Aran, making the sample in "olive branch" and 'mars in retrograde". The double brim seems like it would keep my ears warm on even the coldest Canadian mornings! Exoflora is now available as a free Ravelry pattern download. For more of Michael's knitting and his expanding portfolio of patterns, please visit him on Ravelry or instagram.

Nika's Winter Fresh [Made by You]

Welcome to our latest blog feature, where I'll be featuring some of the amazing projects you have all been making using Agrestal Yarn! This week, I'm excited to be featuring Nika's lovely Winter Fresh shawl, made as a test knit for Joji Locatelli's new Three Colour Cashmere Shawl pattern. She used Grand River Sock in "seafoam" and undyed, and paired these two colours with some her handspun yarn for contrast. This handspun was done using Melissa's targhee top, and I think that the two semi-solids pair beautifully with the simplicity of the undyed wool.  For more details, you can visit Nika's Ravelry project. To see more of Nika's other projects, including her lovely spinning, you can check out her instagram...
